Automated Manufacture

Without wishing to state the obvious, a fixture is only as good as the accuracy of the drilling. Most fixture vendors use modified pcb drilling equipment. Forwessun on the other hand invested in a fixture drill machine specifically designed for the task.

The guaranteed XY drill accuracy is +/- 1/1000 inch.

Our machining capabilities are further enhanced by our Datron Drill/Route/Milling system.
As well as dramatically enhancing our drill capacity, the Datron gives us the ability to manufacture our own tight tolerance piece parts in-house in both composite and alloy materials.

The Datron system is controlled by Forwessun developed CAD/CAM software.

Probe tip integrity is as important a factor in overall fixture accuracy as the drilling.

Forwessun's Receptacle and Probe insertion machine can handle .075 and .100 receptacles and probes, .075 and .100 Wireless receptacles and (HP3070) BRC Interface pins.

Full fixture verification is performed on our in-house designed and built Fixture Verifier.

Full shorts and opens tests are performed on all signal, power supply, ground and vectorless test wiring to give total confidence. A top access probe check is also performed for additional peace of mind.

Probe tip accuracy verification checks are then performed to guarantee that the true XY coordinates of the probe tip are to the tightest tolerances available from any fixture vendor in the world.
